Do you think that a Compliance Officer should have a clinical background such as a Nurse or Physician? Or should he or she have an administrative background with experience in management?

Compliance officer is the person who has to make sure that a company is functioning in full compliance with all national and international laws and regulations that pertain to its particular industry, as well as professional standards, accepted business practices, and internal standards.

Compliance officer must have administrative background with experience in management because their main function is to keep a company’s dealings ethically sound and legally pristine along with educating the entire company about instituting practices that will ensure the highest possible level of compliance ,and for this having experience in management and administrative knowledge are the key components .
