Answer :

The study of the disorders of the newborn called as " Neonatology ". Or neonatal pediatrics it is one of the sub speciality of pediatrics.

Neonates also called as Newborns, because they are born newly and new to the world.

Neonates age is at birth to 28 days.

Again decided into two types :

Early neonates and late neonates.

* Early neonates are birth to 7 days or one week.

* Late neonates are 7 days to 28 days.

New born disorders like all congenital malformations, like cyanotic and acynotic heart diseases, cleft lip, and cleft palate, tracheoesophageal Artesia, hydrocephalus, anancephaly, clubfoot, ano rectal malformations, development displacement of hip, these are the diseases and studying about all those disorders during in the neonatal age of the baby is called neonatology.
