1. Healthy weight :-

a body weight in relation to your height that doesn't increase the risk of developing any weight-related health problems or diseases.

- overweight

weight in excess of the average given height, based on height-weight tables a BMI of 25-29.9

- normal weight

BMI of 18.5-24.9

- underweight

weight less then average for a given height-weight tables, a weight of less than 18.5

- obesity

excessive accumulation of body fat a BMI of over 30 and 25% excess in women and more than 32% in men.

2. Health risks for overweight individuals :-

- Heart diseases

- Hypertension

- Stroke

- Hypercholesterolemia

- Atherosclerosis

3. Health risks for underweight individuals :-

- Malnutrition

- Unproper growth and development

- Retarded growth

- Compromised immunity

- Infections

4. Prevention and therapeutic techniques :-

- Awareness related to risks of overweight and underweight

- Health education

- Medical checkups

- Lifestyle modification
