1. ANSWER.

BMI of an individual is calculated with his/her height and weight, it says if an individual is an overweight, underweight, or normal weight according to his/her age.

the formula for BMI is = kg / m2

where kg is the weight of an individual in kilograms and the height of the individual in meters.

scotts weight is       243 pound = 110.223 kgs

approx = 110 kgs

scotts height is   5 foot 10 inches =1.778 meters

approx = 1.8 meters

so, the BMI is = 110 Kgs / 1.8*1.8

SCOTTS BMI = 33.9506

2. ANSWER.

18.5 TO 24.9   BMI IS CONSIDERED NORMAL

25 TO 30 BMI IS CONSIDERED AS OVERWEIGHT,

TOTAL CALORIES WILL BE

= 40.01 % OF CALORIE FROM CARBOHYDRATES.

PERCENTAGE OF CALORIES FROM PROTEIN ARE

CALORIE FROM PROTEIN / TOTAL CALORIES FROM ALL SOURCES * 100

= 844 ( PROTEIN) / 4228 * 100

= 19.96 % OF CALORIE FROM PROTEIN.

PERCENTAGE OF CALORIES FROM FAT ARE
