Yes. An examination of Suicide -screening procedure is necessary for all inpatients in order to achieve Zero suicide. Health professionals have to assess and identify the risk of suicidal thoughts and behaviors in patients. It improves the quality of care and reduces the risk of inpatients. The interprofessional have to advance their knowledge in assessing such risk behavior and to strengthen their accessibility in prevention and mange of such a complex situation. It benefits both the patients as well as the organization by increasing the safety, promoting the wellness of the patient, reducing the risk, improve baseline assessment criteria, improving clinical care, and promote patient-centered care.
