why does taking more than the regular dosage of acetaminophen cause bleeding of the stomach? i cant find anything tell me how it actually causes it

ANSWER :

ACITOMINOPHEN is used to reduce fever and pain. Acitominophen do not cause GI bleeding or ulcer, but taking overdose of acitominophen will cause liver damage. I the liver damage is not treated it leads to bleeding due to overdose of drug. Bleeding occurs in the third stage.If the drug intake is more than 200 mcg/ml it causes liver damage.
