Health education addresses humans as individuals and groups. Health promotion intends to address humans as individuals and groups in the settings, in which they live, work, love and play.

An important term in WHO's documents on health promotion is setting, by which is indicated that health promotion intends to aim at where people live and work.

Health promotion is supposed to refer to two different levels of social change:

improvement of lifestyles and workstyles conducive to health,

improvement of living conditions and working conditions conducive to health.

These settings are explained as below:-

1.) SCHOOL HEALTH EDUCATION/PROMOTION:-.   school health are designed to promote students' physical, emotional, and social development. health education in schools so important and potentially vital.Health education in childhood is easier and more effective to establish in childhood when they have yet to establish unhealthy behaviors that are hard to change.

2. the review of materials for classroom use

3. the chaperoning of dances and other after school activities

4. fund raising

5. the advising of student groups such as yearbook, debate, or student council

Advantages of working in school health education/promotion

1. health education specialists have the ability to work with young people during their developmental years
