This law protects labor from workplace injuries. It protects the workers from assaults and threatening of violence. It regulates the employee's laws and regulations and protects them from violence and threats in the workplace of hospitals and in the community.
2. Protect from the allegation of false claim and fraud:
Health care law protects employees from complaints through the False Claim Act. The employee can proceed against the employer who forced to do resignation. It takes action on practices of discrimination, injudgement, poor treatment, and fraud. It takes action of Indignation Resignation letter and gives rights to the employee to report directly to the HR.
3. Compensation for Home Health care Aide:
Employment Labor Law provides compensation for health care workers for the traveling time to the client location. Through this, the employees can get at least the minimum wages for total hours spent in a day. It also forced the employer to pay regular rates for the employees.
4. Occupational Safety and Health Act:
It is established to provide a safe workplace for the employees. According to this Act, the federal government ensures whether the employers are following safety programs and provides a hazard-free workplace for the employees.
5. Needlestick Safety and Prevention Act:
This law protects health care workers from needle stick injuries and harms. It also forced the organization to follow universal precautions and follow safe work practices.
6. Whistleblower's protection act:
Whistle blower's workers are protected under the false claims act. It has a lawsuit against the fraudelent activity.
6. Fair Labor Standards Act:
It regulates the standard in the employees both private and government sectors. It establishes standards for overtime pay, minimum wages, and maintenance of records for the employees.
