Answer: Immobility for a prolonged period of time causes many issues and problems. Once I got leg fracture where I was unable to mobilize for a month. This fracture made me to lay down in a same position for quite a long hours in a day. Due to this specific conditions and immobilisation pressure ulcer occured near the hip areas.
This cause serious injury as the ulcer became more severe. The immobilisation causes reduced circulation of blood to the particular area due to which pressure ulcer occured.
