ketorolac ordered per hour / Have x Volume (mL) = Y (Flow Rate in mL/hr)

Weight in Kg * Dosage Per Kg= Y (Required Dosage)

46 kg * 16 mcg/kg/hr= 736 mcg/hr

Convert 736 mcg/hr to mg/hr.

mcg → mg → g → kg    ( ÷ by 1,000 )

736 mcg/hr ÷ 1,000 = 0.736 mg/hr

0.736 mg/hr / 11.1 mg 232 mL = 15.4 mL/hr

15.4 mL/hr flow rate in mL/hr was setup in the pump
