1. Blood urea nitrogen,

2. Blood creatinin,

Normal values :

BUN - 7 to 20 mg per dl.

Abnormal findings :

* low BUN levels seen in liver diseases,

* high levels seen in heart failure, dehydration, diet high in protein intake.

CREATININ :

normal value : 0.6 to 1.0 mg per dl.

Abnormal findings :

* High creatinin indicates kidneys failure, that is more than 1.1mg per dl.

* low creatinin level indicates sign of loosing muscle mass and commonly seen in pregnancy due to malnutrition.
