Principles of using electronic medical records:

• Objective: only objective facts are mentioned avoiding personal experiences.
• Precise: specific language should be used avoid generalized language. records should be written using only factual statements.
• Through documentation: documentation should be with complete facts, providing information related ta the event, course of treatment, patient condition, response to care or deviation from standard treatment with rationale.

Special services offered by US postal service:

• Certified mail service: A record of delivery is kept at recipient's post office. A return receipt to provide the sender with proof of delivery can also be purchased for an additional fee. certified mail service is available only for first class mail or priority mail.
• Insured mail service : purchase of insurance is available with coverage upto $5,000 for standard mail. for articles insured for more than $50, a receipt of delivery is signed by the recipient and filed at the delivery post office. claims are settled from the receipt of purchase.
• Return receipt service: It is a proof of delivery. A return receipt can be purchased for more than $50. the return receipt shows who signed for the item and the date it was delivered.
• Registered mail service : is the most secure service offered by the US postal service. it provide added protection for valuable and important mail.
