Difference between the following :-

Restatement - is an act of stating something again . For example If the patient does not listened clearly the statement what I said then I repeat it again for the patient .

Reflection - is a listening communication strategy in which a person is seeking to understand a speaker's idea, then offering the idea back to the speaker, to confirm the idea has been understood correctly. It is used in health teaching in clinical setting to know how much is understood by the patients .

Clarification - in communication ,clarification involves offering back to the speaker the essential meaning, as understood by the listener, of what they have just said. Thereby checking that the listener's understanding is correct and resolving any areas of confusion or misunderstanding.
