For instance a communication on diet and exercise for a patient who is diabetic

Patient:Good morning nurse or sister (in a low unenthusiastic manner)

Nurse:Had a hood sleep in night

Nurse:Don't worry Mr.X. Diabetes is a lifestyle disease and needs certain lifestyle modification first to tackle it effectively

Patient:What should I do?

Nurse:Diet control is the first thing here,follow a low carbohydrate diet

Patient:Wha should I eat and what not?

Nurse:Add vegetables, fruits,grains ,pulses,cereals,all naturally available foods .Avoid white sugar ,refined products, high glycemic index foods ,alcohol.

Patient :ok

Nurse:It is a must to have a brisk walk half an a day in the morning

Patient:ok

Nurse:Along with this regular medication has to be taken as prescribed.Not to overdose or underdose

Patient:what should I monitor if I take this medication

Nurse:watch for signs of dizziness (hypoglycemia) nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, etc., and seek medical help.

Patient:Thank you nurse ,I think I can manage my sugar levels effectively.
