Discuss how healthcare policy-makers should be on the lookout for misleading arguments and positions or other logical fallacies. How would you react to your own organization if they were to employ any of these tactics, either deliberately or inadvertently?

Healthcare sector is a very broad field mainly interrelated with four group of P's (Patient,Provider,Policy-maker,Payor).A patient when healthy makes sure that they have a policy that can be used or insured when they are sick depending upon the treatment offered by the provider.   The policy makers plays a key role in the process of pay out by the payers.

There are chances a health-care policy makers can mislead arguments and position for financial or monetary gains.For instance if the policy maker comes out with a policy of providing care on the basis of first come first serve in an inpatient facility may affect the quality of care delivered where the emergency cases will not be addressed leading to loss of life and several damages.

If a healthcare policy makers planning which wants  the providers to see as many patients as possible in a specific period of time can impaire the quality of services and misdiagnosis at times.

An employer can react to their organizations in the following way

• Convey to the immediate supervisor or the designated officials
• Provide an incident report in case of any harmful results due to the healthcare policy encountered with patient or the colleagues
• Not encouraging logical fallacies and opposing it in th right way.
