Yes, there is difference between euthanasia and PAS (physician assisted suicide).Physician assisted suicide means the physician provide the means for death for example with a prescription and the patient need to self administer medication .Euthanasia means the physician directly gives the injection to end the life of patient .However euthanasia and PAS both acts with the intention of ending life of patient .

Physician assisted suicide is done only when the patient is diagnosed with chronic illness with no relief in which patient wish to die.The prescription will be given to the patient by the physician ,the patient himself need to administer the medication ,involving others is illegal.

Euthanasia is classified into two types voluntary and involuntary.Voluntary euthanasia means the action taken by both physician and patient with informed consent .Involuntary means the patient is not mentally active to give informed consent so a third party will be involved in giving consent.

Abortion and Euthanasia is killing of human being .In case of abortion the unborn child is killed inside the womb of mother, who has the right to live in this world. In case of euthanasia critically ill patient with no hope is killed ,in involuntary euthanasia a third party give consent  to kill patient .
