Answer #1

Alternative medical therapies are the interventions intended to provide relief or reduce symptoms of an illness. These therapies do not contain any scientific approval and do not come under the standard medical practices.

These alternative treatments are used in adjunct with standard medical practices to achieve better benefits.

Some of the complementary medical treatments include Ayurveda, Chinese medicine, reiki, acupuncture.

I would like to learn more about ayurveda. I have always been fascinated with the nature and its various benefits. Ayurveda deals with the medicinal properties of various herbs and plants. Ayurvedic medicines help heal the patient through these medicinal properties of plants and herbs. Since these medicines are all natural and thus have minimum side effects. This is a major advantage over the other pharmacological drugs which have huge adverse effects. Ayurvedic medicines have proved to be effective immunity boosters. They also help relieve chronic conditions like arthritis, sinusitis and skin problems.

I would like to learn more about Ayurveda so that I could make the best possible use of natural medicines and use them in adjunct with standard medical practices.
