Jackie is a healthy women. She is 45 years old and 5'7" tall. Jackie's current weight is 160 lbs. She exercises 4-5 times per week but is struggling to meet her goal weight. Jackie is seeking your clinical advice to lose 15 lbs in 3 months. Her target weight goal is 145 lbs.

Write a basic meal plan for your client.

  • Include how many calories each day she will need to consume to lose 1-2 lbs each week
  • Calculate her complete macronutrient breakdown including; total carb consumption, total fat consumption, total protein consumption
  • Explain the rationale for all of your choices

MEAL PLAN: To reduce weight for Jackie .according to her age and height her bmi was 25 its an ideal weight

to reduce 4-5 lbs she has to follow 1,200 calorie diet plan

this meal plan include 3 serving with the one snack, include fruits vegetables,soups,high water content friuts watermelon, grapefruit, plenty of fluids should be include this will be low calorie diiet

for 1200 calorie diet plan

breakfast -

  • fresh fruits slices 2-3 example mango, apple, papaya etc.
  • boiled egg
  • cup of oatmeal or brown bread 2 slices un sweeten
  • coffee 1/4 cup
  • in breakfast daily include seasonal fruits and prevent the sweeten foods, should be high protein diet
  • dont skip the breakfast.

lunch -

  • vegetable salads should be include carrots , tomato, leafy green vegtables
  • soups
  • cup of brown rice / meat grilled /salmon
  • sanwich chicken 40g
  • yogurt

snacks -

  • it should include fruits or nuts
  • cheese
  • green tea or coffee

dinner -

  • salmon/ lean grilled meat
  • salad
  • 1 cup of skimmed milk
  • pasta

daily 30 % of protein , 30% healthy fats , other nutrient with carbs 40% should be include in the meal

daily exercise 1-1/2 hour.

fruits are seasonal you should rotational .

\ for protein include soya products , avoid sugars ,

500 calories , in macro
