Urinary acidifiers are used to produce acidic urine, they are used to control the pH of the urine, they may be diet or may be the part of the diet or the drug. They are given to the pets in the Veterinary Technology. Urinary acidifiers are supposed to produce acidic urine as well as it can dissolve & treat urinary or bladder stones, prevent the formation of the struvite. Examples of urinary acidifiers are ammonium chloride and methionine.
