As an example, if you are comatose and stop breathing, a living will can dictate to either conduct CPR or to withhold CPR. It also covers such things as feeding tubes, medications for pain, surgeries, etc. Many people who take the time to complete a living will are often frustrated when the medical community ignores their wishes. Why do you think that the medical community would chose to ignore a living will? Have you made a living will? Do your parents or aging relatives have a living will? If not why not, or if you do have one, does the medical community have a current copy?

• When the patiwnt can have a prognosis in the disease and can live a life
• If the family members are against the living will and wants their family member to be saved.

Making a living will is necessary

• Because when ill, the family members will not be able to make all decision and this will can help them to take decision in accordance with patient
• It will benefit a patient who is terminally ill ,because the family members will have a minimal emotional disturbances while making decision

Usually aging relatives and parents have a living will in case if any chronic or terminal illness.If they have no childrens or relatives at their end of life with a support of devices

It can be hard to have a will when healthy because it is an emotional trauma experienced by one thinking of how their life to end

The copy of the living will should be in the medical record of the patient which cannbe referred by the healthcare professionals when they are critically admitted and are on life support.
