Helminths are some parasitic organisms which are of the phyla Nematoda and Platyhelminthes. These are parasitic in nature and depend on host for food and survival. These infect the humans and enter various parts of the body. They can be seen in parts of digestive tract like intestine, in blood vessels, skin and also liver etc. They cause various diseases in humans and few examples are pin worm, tape worm, liver fluke etc.
