1.The following precautions to be taken when caring for these types of patient

• Following strict infection control practice
• Do not attend patients if having any respiratory or immunity problems
• Use personal protective equipment (N 95 respirator mask,goggles,gowns, gloves)
• Follow hand washing
• Isolate the patient
• Do not attend patient in empty stomach ,because of getting infected easily
• Avoid touching the patient surface or ones face
• Do not carry any personal things like mobile to bed side
• Discard the PPE after existing the patient room

2.The following guidelines will be necessary

• Use PPE
• Provide a face mask to the patient also ,teach about cough etiquette
• Inform the concerned department about the transfer of patient ,so that they can take adequate precautions and do the required arrangements
• There should be minimal number of staff ,highly skilled professionals to handle this case
• Make sure family members do not travel along with them
• A separate vehicle can be used
• A vehicle with a HEPA filter can be used
• Make sure the staff who is going to care or do the procedure attends the patient, so that others can be minimized from caring the patient
• After the test is done ,make sure the area is disinfected thoroughly including the lines,surface,equipment, rooms.
