1).

Understanding and memorization are the two steps in the process of learning. Students use different modes of learning for studying different subjects. For example, the learning process of maths is different from that of science; some of the methods are most useful for specific subjects.

Some students learn by reading the written text, and understanding the concept, and then rewrite the whole in their own words (read-write learners). Learning by listening to the lecture is one of the methods of learning (auditory learners). Particularly in science, laboratory experiments and diagrams help in learning (visual learners).

Some of the visual learning techniques that are helpful in nursing include unfolding case studies, role play, stimulation activities, and gallery walk (observing the pictures related to a particular concept).
