Prenatal testing is the testing done before the delivery of the foetus and after the pregnancy occurs. But it should be done before the viable period of the safe abortion.

It is one of the very useful method to understand the possible problems to be faced by the unborn child and the possibility of having any kind of genetically abnormal problems. It is very important for the parents to know and understand the condition of their foetus.

It will help the parents to either choose to keep the child or to help the child not to suffer from all the difficulties that he might after he takes birth.

If the parents opt to give birth to the child in any condition which the child may suffer with, then this test will help them to identify which condition the child has been suffering from and of it can be treated with the medications or change in the food and lifestyle pattern of the mother. It will help the parents to understand about the condition before the birth of the child which will make them ready to invite the child with respect to his condition. It will help them to gain knowledge about the baby's condition and to act accordingly. They will have more idea on how to deal with such babies before they are even born. They might want to create an environment according to the baby's condition when he is born. It will ease their condition when everything is planned before accordingly.

If the parents opt to identify the condition of the child and think that the condition of the child will become worse when he takes birth then they can decide on helping the baby to ease it with the help of abortion. Also today the foetus can be helped in easing their condition with the help of DNA and genetic mutations if learnt at an early stage. The parents will think that the child will not be able to live a normal life and will also think that he might have the feeling of worthlessness when looking at other children. They might think about their feelings when the society will look and take him as a different individual and the feeling when the small children will tease him for any situations etc. They might even think of the time when they will not be able to take care of him anymore then who will be taking them under their care and guidance. All these things can be thought by some of the parents of some individuals.

Hence it is very much important for the allowance of the prenatal testing through out the world.
