18./The pediatric dose of cefadroxil is 30 mg/kg/day. If a child was given a daily dose of 2 teaspoonfuls of a pediatric suspension containing 125 mg of cefadroxil per 5 mL, what was the weight, in pounds, of the child?

I need help solving this problem. I know the answer but i'm not sure how to work it out. Thanks!

Pediatric dose of cefadroxil is 30 mg /kg/day

The child was given 2 tablespoons = 10 ml (1 tsp = 5 ml)

Each 5 ml contains 125 mg of cefadroxil, the child was given 125 $\times$ 2 = 250 mg

The child weight is = Total dose $\div$ dose per kg body weight

                               = 250mg $\div$ 30mg = 8.33 kgs

To convert kgs to lbs we must multiply with 2.2

                           = 2.2 $\times$ 8.33

                           = 18.32 lbs (can be rounded to 18 lbs)

The child weight is 18 pounds.
