Answer: Being in the healthcare profession, it is necessary to have sound knowledge regarding the profession. The nursing profession is a life long learning process where knowledge can be enhanced by attending various conferences that are related to health education, reading journals etc.

I have presented my article in the conference which was organised by the one of healthcare organization. That conference was based on the lack of knowledge and awareness among people regarding obesity. Obesity causes development of many other diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, hypertension etc.

My article was also based on how to lower the rate of obesity. For this purpose it is necessary to create awareness among people. Encouraging them to indulge themselves in physical activities such as walking, jogging etc. It has been found that people who exercise daily for atleast 35 minutes have their weight in control as well as Hypertension is managed. Eating healthy foods as well as adopting healthy lifestyle can be very useful in the weight management. People should avoid caffeinated beverages as well as alcohol and smoking.

This conference has increases the way of thinking as well as enhances the critical thinking skills. In the nursing profession it is necessary to gain useful knowledge. This conference has provided platform to look after the patients more enhanced way so as to deliver quality of care to them
