12. OUTSIDE VISITATION PAPER All students will be required to participate in a health facility/program visitation. This should be to a health related facility or event. Your choices include Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or drug recovery (NA) meeting; hospital or convalescent hospital tour; rehabilitation center or research facility. You may also choose an alternative facility or event with prior approval from the instructor. If you work in the health field you may not use a work related event/experience for this assignment. This visitation must take place after the starting date for this class and should be a first time visit. Use the Assignment link in Unit 6 to submit the assignment. The paper must be saved as a Microsoft Word document or PDF file, double spaced, font size 12, and minimum of 2 pages in length. Title the assignment Visitation Paper. Make sure to click "Add Attachment" to include paper with your submission, not in the text-box. The following information should be included at the top of the paper your name, name of event cor facility visited, date visited. In the report you should write about your experience and evaluate the event or facility How has this experience affected you? What have you learned from this experience? Include all the necessary information (who, what, why, where, when). Include a name and phone number where I could verify your attendance/participation if l choose to inquire. Your grade will be based on 1) how well you follow directions by including the requested information, 2) your experience and evaluation of the facility or event, 3) explanation of how this experience affected you, 4) explanation of what you learned from this experience. I went for a outside visitation to Alcoholic Anonymous Support Group in Gurugram, Delhi . It is a self help organisations made up of men and women . They help each other to stop drinking alcohol by evaluating their strengths and weakness. These people totally devote and concentrate on how to abstinence from drinking alcohol .

They are provided counseling , rehabilitation, and occupational classes so that they achieve their goal and after achieving their goals they can lead a normal life .The most interesting and attention seeking thing which I saw there was people were so friendly and helping each other from their hearts and wanted to live a beautiful life . And also I saw many successful patients who left drinking and they were providing classes and teaching sessions on how to deal with drinking .

It was a very informative experience for me as it proves that nothing is impossible and people can come out of their past and bad days if they want from their hearts . It was a learning experience for me because it taught me that how people with same difficulty help each other to resolve the problem by assessing their own strengths and weakness .
