Assisted living facility:
Assisted living facilities having 8-10 residents. they need residential care every day for their daily needs including medication like a skilled nursing facility. It has an independent environment for residents' autonomy, dignity, safety, and privacy with family involvement. they provide long care with the necessary service. there will be abstinence from religion, freedom from abuse, communication, privacy, health need service, councils, financial control, etc. Here they also allow using pets or guests to stay overnight with residents. It is a private structure building including educational, recreational, exercise service with 24 hours security. There will be always a basic service costs for their service along with additional costs if they need extra service. it includes in monthly price, residents pay for the Assisted living facility without assistance with Medicaid.
Major positions and responsibility:
Administrative staff deal with care for residents, managing personal, finance, admissions and operations in the facility.
Medical staff provides direct care in daily routine and medication management. Certified nursing assistants(CNAs) care for assistants in personal and daily basic care.
Role of board of director:
The small facility they have directors as administrator provide care for senior citizens. they provide security and empower environment, medication management and medical service to the elderly people. they manage a clinical team and plan facility budget, having a meeting with higher heads, implementing policies and goal and following state regulations.
A small facility with minimum residence provides a home-based style living with less cost. There will be quality care for residents with adequate staff. It provides an active social atmosphere, friendly care and there will be warm care. It will be a better choice for senior residents to focus on positive and minimize their feelings.
