How you recognize and react to emergent patient/resident care situations and intervene while waiting for assistance. For Example, recognizing need for basic life support, controlling bleeding and assisting with behavior crisis?

Some of the best way to recognize and react to emergent patient care situation are

• Do not be panic
• Remove any crowd around the patient
• Make sure the patient is out of dangerous source
• Place patient in recumbent position
• So not move the patient, if suspecting for fracture of neck
• Assess the Airway , Breathing, Circulation ,Disability. If no pulse and respiration initiate CPR till the assistance arrives
• If the bleeding is bright red and spurting apply direct pressure on the site with a clean cloth
• If a patient is very aggressive do not argue,show abnormal body techniques and postures,raised tone ,violent attitude because this can cause patient to develop anger and harm self or others.Make sure the environment is calm,reassure the patient and in still hope and confidence in patient
• In case if patient ingested poison check put the type of poison if acidic do not induce vomiting
• In snake bite calming the patient with restraint applied above the site of bite and occasional release can make the patiwnt in comfort zone for at least an hour
