Answer #1

Lysine has one stereocenter (\alpha carbon). The chiral center forms when the molecule binds with four different groups.

The Leucine (leu) side chain does not form hydrogen bonds with other amino acids. It is hydrophobic. The other amino acids such as Alanine, Isoleucine, Methionine, Phenylalanine, Valine, Proline and Glycine which are also hydrophobic and are in the core of the protein.

Serine (Ser), threonine (Thr), asparagine (Asn), tyrosine (Tyr), glutamine (Gln), histidine (His) and cysteine (Cys) all these are polar amino acids.
