We really don’t understand the process of dying as a definition of dying according to healthcare is the cessation of the vital functions of life such as breathing, digestion, eating, etc. But this is not a holistic view of dying as death may be emotional, physical, mental, spiritual, etc. Thus to have a holistic view of death we need to collaborate with the different streams of knowledge
