What is your understanding of tissue classification
Ans) There are 4 different fundamental types of tissues.
They are 1) Epithelial Tissue - Helps to coat the exterior part of the body and also helps for lining of the body cavities.
2) Connective Tissue - This helps to hold up the different body parts.
3) Muscular Tissue - Allows the motion of structures inside the body.
4) Nervous Tissue - Allows responses to spur and also promote different body functions.
1) The epithelial tissue is further classified based on their cell appearance, like Squamous,Cuboidal,Columnar,Transitional.
-- Due to the difference in the setting of the layers the epithelial tissue is classified as,
** Simple epithelium - Simple Squamous epithelium, Simple Cuboidal epithelium,Nonciliated simple columnar epithelium, Ciliated simple columnar epithelium.
** Stratified Epithelium - Stratified Squamous epithelium,Stratified Cuboidal epithelium, Stratified Columnar Epithelium,Transitional Epithelium.
** Pseudostratified Columnar Epithelium
-- GLANDULAR EPITHELIAL TISSUE; 1) Endocrine Glands- Tissue in the endocrine Glands
2) Exocrine Glands - These are the tissues in the Exocrine Glands.
2) The Connective tissue can be classified into 2 types, they are Embryonic Connective Tissue and Mature Connective Tissue.
The Embryonic Connective Tissue includes Mesenchyme and Mucous connective Tissue.
The Mature connective Tissue includes,
Loose Connective Tissue -Include the Areolar Tissue, Adipose Tissue and Reticular Tissue
Dence Connective Tissue - Includes Elastic Connective Tissue, Dense regular connective Tissue,Dence irregular connective Tissue.
Cartilage Tissue- This includes,
Elastic cartilage,Hyaline Cartilage and Fibrocartilage
Bone Tissue - This includes,
Spongy bone and Compact bone
Blood Tissue - This includes,
Erythrocytes, Leucocytes and Thrombocytes
Lymphatic Tissue - This includes,
Lymph.
3) MUSCULAR TISSUE;
Muscular tissue can be classified into 3.
They are 1) Skeletal Muscle Tissue - Situated in all parts of the body, Voluntary Movements.And walking is an example for Skeletal muscle movement.
2) Cardiac Muscle Tissue - Only seen in the Heart and helps in the blood flow inside the body.
3) Smooth Muscle Tissue - Situated in lots of inside structures like the intestine and also the stomach.This is a involuntary Muscle.
4) NERVOUS TISSUE;
This type of tissue includes 2 different type of cells,
1) Nerve Cells- These are also called Neurons.This helps to
transfer the nerve impulses that carry details or informations
throughout the body.
2) Neuroglia - Also called as Glia. Assist and stand as a shelter for the nerve cells.And some of the examples for Glia are Astrocytes, ependymal cells and Schwann cells.
