7. The physician ordered amoxicillin capsules of 500mg .

Available amoxicillin capsules of 250 mg

So, to give the ordered dose of 500mg , two capsules of 250 mg amoxicillin capsules has to be provided .

8. The physician ordered lasix oral solution 30mg as single dose

Available lasix solution is 60ml bottle that contains 10mg/ml

1 ml of lasix solution has 10mg

Then 60ml of lasix would have = 60×10 = 600 mg

We have to give 30mg , for that we will give 3 ml of oral solution of lasix .

9. Ordered dose of Demerol is 50mg IM

Available dose of Demerol is 100mg/2ml

Means 1 ml has 50mg Demerol

So, to give 50mg Demerol injection , we have to take 1ml of drug from the available dose of Demerol.

10. Ordered dose of Vistaril is 75mg

Available dates of Vistaril is 50 mg /ml

1ml of Vistaril has 50mg

To give 75 mg ,we need to take 1.5 ml from the available dose of Vistaril .
