The behavioral approach to reducing the risk of cardiovascular attack national guidelines and world health organization guidelines to modify the behavior of the person will reduce the mortality and morbidity. It includes regular physical activity, stop smoking and alcohol intake, increased intake of fruits and vegetables, less saturated fat in the diet, less sodium intake, increased potassium intake. It will be part of primary care with short-duration intervention. It reduces cardiovascular disease mortality. These interventions implemented in supportive environments, population-wide strategy to improve public health behavioral change. It encourages people towards healthy choices for their lifestyle. Cost-effective affordable drug therapy makes additional benefits to prevent cardiovascular disease.
Guidelines reduce the disability and premature deaths from cardiovascular disease. National guidance includes policies, economic, social and medical circumstances. Its basis on the total risk approach to primary prevention of cardiovascular disease. These guidelines work well to prevent cardiovascular disease because it modifies the behavior of the person, it is evidence-based with fewer resources and less drug treatment to avoid adverse effects and cost-effective.
