If both adults are of sound mind and legal age, why can the healthcare provider not have an intimate relationship with their patient/client? Or can they? Defend your position.

The relationship which a nurse and patient has is a very pure and caring relationship where a nurse takes care of her client in a way as to treat him, take care of him and to make him feel comfortable. The nurse's care can be compared to that of a mother, sister, friend or wife. The nurse will have an emotion built for her client even if she takes care for him for a little period of time.

In my opinion, if both the adults are of sound mind and legal age, the health care provider and the client can have an intimate relationship of their own. A relationship is formed when two people will form a bond with love, respect and care for eachother which is beyond explaination and this can be formed with any two people who come in contact with eachother irrespective of their status or positions as the love and care for eachother speaks rather than their position. It is no harm in having or gaining an interest in a person who is treating or whom you are treating as you can have flow of emotions with anyone you desire to have. There is no rules or laws for any kind of emotions which we have for eachother and it doesn't stop if the other person is different from us in any way.
