The characteristics of performance driven team are they work uniformly with mutual understanding towards a common goal,the intensity and frequency of conflicts between each other are very minimal and difficulties, confusion are handled between the team itself.

Intrinsic motivation refers to self motivation where the individual themselves motivates by feeling satisfied,confident,self appraisal,etc.,

Extrinsic factors refers to positive stimulation from outside may be friends,families ,compliments, applause, praises, credits etc.,

It is very essential to understand the type of motivation because it enables one to identify the difference between reality and fakeness, attitudes ,behaviours ,concerns of others and self.In simple it decides a person to progress or detoriate.
