1.Population Oscillation : Population numbers oscillate over time, producing a wave shape.In many cases, oscillations are produced by interactions between populations of at least two different species.For instance, predation, parasite infection, and fluctuation in food availability have all been shown to drive oscillations.

Population Fluctuation : In all populations, numbers rise and fall over time. Fluctuations can be erratic, or deviations from a growth pattern, e.g., the Tasmanian sheep population. Sometimes the number of individuals can increase rapidly, causing a population outbreak.

So from this above two defination that we can easily identify what is the difference between two.

2.Intrinsic Factors : Population growth is affected by intrinsic factors that are built into the genetic basis of each species.

Extrinsic Factors : While intrinsic factors act from within an individual, extrinsic factors wield their influence from the outside (i.e., they are environmental, cultural, or related to lifestyle). Extrinsic factors can have a sizeable impact on a person's health and can affect medical decision-making
