  1. I have to give 15mg/kg/day of chocolate syrup by mouth in divided dose QID to patient who weighs 198 lbs. The drug on hand is 150mg/ml. So i have to 1.5ml per each dose.
  2. Patient weighs 150lbs, to recieve DDAVP 0.3mg/kg, it will be added in 100ml normal saline bag over 50 mins.On hand tubing labelled 10gtt per ml.DDAVP is available dose is 75mg per 5 ml. So 1.5ml should be added to IV bag and 0.02 drops per minute will this infusion run at.
  3. Dehydrated patient needs 3 liter normal saline over 8 hours, so i will run infusion at 375ml/hr in infusion pump.
