Aboriginal people are the native inhabitants of a place.In Australia only 3.3% percentage of people contribute to indigenous or aboriginal group.Among them nearly 80% of people have some sort of chronic medical conditions. The estimated age group ranges approximately from 35 to 75 years of age.The mortality gap being about 12 years in male and 10 years in female when compared to the non-indigineous group in Australia.Most of the people suffer at least two or more chronic conditions. The common chronic conditions are cardiovascular problems, respiratory problems (COPD),Cerebrovascular diseases, the prevalence of cancer (lungs),endocrine disorders like diabetes mellitus. The government has taken initiation by creating awareness via social media, health camps and screening,magazine, newspaper,television, broadcasting ,etc.,to reduce the mortality and morbidity rate and improve their quality and life expectancy.
