Ans) 1) Negative pressure rooms prevent the air from flowing into the hallways. Tuberculosis and chicken pox are examples of illnesses that would require a patient to be placed in airborne precautions. A gown, gloves and respirator are required if you are treating a patient in airborne precautions. So this should be followed to meet Mr. Braxter.

2) Airborne isolation precautions—used for diseases or very small germs that are spread through the air from one person to another (examples: Tuberculosis, measles, chickenpox).

3) For example, N95 particulate respirators might be worn by personnel entering the room of a patient with infectious tuberculosis. However, if a bronchoscopy is performed on the patient, the healthcare provider might wear a higher level of respiratory protection, such as a powered air-purifying respirator or PAPR.

4) Hand washing is the primary, most effective preventive of the spread of Clostridium difficile. Any infected patient should be placed in isolation and all staff and visitors should follow isolation precautions that include wearing personal protective equipment. PPE for C. diff includes gloves and isolation gowns.
