Answer: Aging is a process of getting old. As aging occurs, our skin starts to loose elasticity, slow down in the functions of the organ and tissues. Aging causes loss of calcium from bone and hence make us weaker as compared to young age. Along with aging many diseases occurs such as memory problem, physical health problems etc. The risk of the diseases such as Dementia, Alzheimer's disease, depression, diabetes, hypertension etc. increases.

The long term care is required at the old age specially by the patients who are suffering from chronic illness or disease. The long term care is required in aging because old people become unable to takecrae of themselves. Long term care involves providing care to the patients and assisting them in their daily routine work.
