Answer: Accreditation can be defined as the process of approval by the agency that the organization has fulfilled all the standards and the requirements whereas licensure means the authority or the licence given to the individual to practice their profession after completing all the process.

The example of accreditation is any Nursing school needs accreditation with Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing.

The example of licence that the nurse requires licence for the practice NCLEX.

In order to maintain accreditation, it is necessary that the particular organization should possess all the standard requirements as well as continuing the same eligibility criteria.

The healthcare professionals should get registered and then they can start their practice. To retain the licence it is necessary that the healthcare professionals should not be indulge in any misuse of the poor activities. They are required to work within the rules and regulations of the profession.
