Nursing is of the most important profession in the health care sector.The nurse who are qualified are highly skilled and knowledgable based on their experiences. Family nurse practitioners plays a vital role during home visit and care.The AACN has planned to make transition from MSN to Doctor of Nursing program since 2015. But this has not been implemented in all nurse g schools be cause of many barriers .It has made by 2025 all certified nurse anesthetists practitioner should hold a DNP to practice. It is made mandatory to get a DNP for re-certification .It is still seen that many nursing schools are offering new MSN programs to the family nurse practitioners. There has been a steady rise in the acceptance of this program with nearly 243 programs.Hence makingbthis tasca terminal degree can be an added advantage but the system to get adopted to it and implement 100% will consume time.
