5.Starfish model organization
It is a concept developed by Brafman and Beckstrom from Standford University . Decentralized organization is starfish organization. A starfish is an animal without head. If a starfish one leg cut, two pieces of starfish replicate themselves. Likewise starfish function as a decentralized organization
It has six principal
Circles, the catalyst, ideology, pre -existing network and champion are the Starfish organization's five legs.
Circle
Here all members are at same level and each member contributes to the best their abilities voluntarily. Communication is spiral not vertical directions.
It depends on norm not rules The circle aimed creating trust and open communication so member accept and share norms.
Catalyst
A catalyst is a person who initiate circle
Ideology
Contributions voluntarly to organization. Do not have power ful ideology
The pre existing network
Organization 's product, customers, value are visible and accessible
The champion
Person work full time and develop ne idea.He has leadership.
