2, patient is overweight, having complaints of belly pain, abdomen bloating and nausea. These symptoms associated with cholecystitis. cholecystitis is a stone formation in the gall bladder or biliary tract.
3, Treatment
-Make the patient is fasting and administer intravenous fluids to maintain hydration
-Pain medication and antibiotics can help relieve the symptoms.
- ERCP(Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography remove stones from bile duct or cystic duct and it can relieve the symptoms.
-Gall bladder removal surgery or cholecystectomy helps bile flows directly from the liver into the small intestine.
4, Radiographer involvement in ERCP procedure to help to provide correct imaging guidance in the fluoroscopic facility. proper positioning of the patient and providing contrast if needed and X-ray is taken in-between is the main radiographer role.
