The Mycoplama pneumonia bacteria has no cell wall.An organism which has no cell wall cannot have definite shapes or make one.This makes them unique each time when they are tried to be destroyed by antibodies and usually resistant to most of the antibiotics. Hence the absence of cell wall makes them to have unusual cell shapes.
