Sexually transmitted infections are the transmission of an infection through a bacteria, virus or parasite from one person to another during sexual contact.

The six STI from the options which can cause clusters of genital lesions and pain during urination are

Genital herpes : Soreness or blisters on genitalia is one of the main symptom of herpes infection.

Gonorrhea : Burning during urination, swelling or redness at the opening of the genitalia are main symptoms.

AIDS : Infection with HIV make the person vulnerable to other infections including STI. Sores of the mouth, anus, or genitals are seen in patients with AIDS.

Genital warts : Small bump or group of bumps in the genital region mainly on on the shaft, or head of the genitalia.

Syphilis : Small, reddish-brown sores and rashes are seen in genitalia and other parts of the body.

Chancroid : Red border surrounded sores or raised bumps on the genitals are seen.
