Answer #1

BMI=weight (lbs)×703÷(inch)m²

Weight: 210 lbs(94kg)

Height:5 feet 8 inch =69.6

=210× 703÷(69.6)²

=147630÷4844.16

=30.4 kg/m²

The patient is obese

Alcohol if avoided is always good ,the accepted level to consume is just two drinks per day ,an increase in quantity with diabetes and obesity can risk a patient for cardiovascular disease and other metabolic disorders easily.

The patient should ideally have a diet which should control his blood sugar as well maintain a healthy weight.A low fat,low calorie diabetic diet can be followed. His diet should be rich in vegetables, greens, sprouts, pulses,olive oil or polyunsaturated or monounsaturated fatty acids,strictly avoiding white or refined products like sugar,ice creams ,chocolates.Avoid deep fried ,fast foods,medium salt in the diet.
