I will tell patient and her parents that it is high dose of these radiation that causes harmful effect on reproductive system like killing of 0va or sperms. But the radiation level which is used in these diagnostic test is low dose having no harmful effect on reproductive system even though if they are exposed directly. There are studies That have shown that there is no such effect in patients undergoing these radiodiagnostic procedures so they should not worry .
