The external cues like smelling the food, seeing anyone eating as well as advertisement of the food can lead to overeating behavior and weight gain in the people.As it affect the sensory and organoleptic behaviour of the human. It triggers the overeating in majority of the cases and hence leads to the weight gain. These are the external factors hence are classified as external cues of overeating and weight gain.

Consuming salt raise the sodium ion level in the bloodstream and and hamper the water removal process of the kidney, leading to the fluid retention in the body, which makes the blood pressure to shoot.

The adverse effcts are high strain in the heart, kedney as well as the brain leading to the heart attack, kidney disorders as well as dementia.
